WWE Rehire Former Champion For WrestleMania

Vince McMahon has the last say in everything that goes on in WWE and that includes storylines, which Superstars get pushes and also bringing back former WWE Superstars to the company after many years. Recent Chris Jericho return texts to Vince McMahon were also revealed.

Now it seems WWE is ready to welcome back former WWE Superstar and Tag Team Champion Davey Boy Smith Jr. According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Davey Boy Smith Jr. will not be appearing for the April 8th Bloodsport event. Due to this, it seems as if he has signed a contract with WWE.

The belief is that he will be making his WWE return very soon.

Davey Boy Smith Jr., not being on the Bloodsport show on 4/8 seems like a give away that he’s signed here. We’d been told it was likely some time back. There was talk of him when they were first talking to him and this goes back probably a year or so, of his being one of the focal points of the U.K. brand as opposed to main roster or NXT.

Davey Boy Smith, Jr last wrestled for WWE in 2011 and since then competed in various promotions and now it seems he will return to a place he once called home.
