WWE revealed today that they’d come to terms on Hennig’s release. Hennig had been a part of several influential groups while with the company, most notably the Nexus.
The height of Hennig’s career came when he won the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat featuring The Miz and Wade Barrett. Hennig was brought under the wing of Paul Heyman at that time, dubbed a “Heyman Guy.”
At forty years old, Hennig still has a lot to offer and could end up having the best years of his career in front of him.
