NXT star Zeda has been released, courtesy of Squared Circle Sirens.
Zeda appeared on NXT a handful of times, taking part in tag team matches and battle royals. However, she’s probably better known as Shayna Baszler’s first victim in the Mae Young Classic.
Outside of wrestling, Zeda has a heavy martial arts background including Muay Thai, judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing.
While the WWE hasn’t made an official statement, the former NXT star did send out a tweet, reminding the WWE Universe that this isn’t the last time they’ll see her.

While she hasn’t been used much since her debut last year, it’s interesting to see that the WWE would release the MMA fighter and model ahead of the returning Mae Young Classic.
