WWE Remove Ex-Champion From WrestleMania After Raw?

As we approach WrestleMania, there are many exciting developments unfolding within the WWE universe, including some intriguing twists and turns in the Women’s Tag Team Title picture. Fans were delighted to see Trish Stratus make a return to WWE RAW, which led to the announcement of a high-profile WrestleMania showdown. However, the situation has become even more complex, with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler still vying for the Women’s Tag Team Titles on SmackDown.

Recently, Lita and Becky Lynch claimed the belts from Damage CTRL, but according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this doesn’t mean the end of Rousey and Baszler’s championship reign. Despite Lita and Lynch’s victory, plans are still in motion for the former champions to make a comeback and challenge for the coveted titles. It remains to be seen how this exciting storyline will play out on the road to WrestleMania.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about this situation. It was confirmed that even though Lita and Becky Lynch are now the champions, that does not nix plans for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler’s reign as champions.

“They still have a tag title match, there’s gonna be two matches coming out of this program.

“Whoever are the champions will wrestle Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, but they’re also doing the six-woman.

“It’s gonna be Lita and Becky Lynch. But, Rousey and Baszler are still getting the tag team title shot as has been planned all along and likely winning them. Unless, Rousey’s injury doesn’t heal. Which they are, right now, of the impression that she’s not gonna be 100% healed but the impression is that she would be ready to do the match.”
