WWE Remove Ex-World Champion From Roster

Bobby Roode, a former NXT Champion, seems to have transitioned away from his full-time professional wrestling career. Reports from PWInsider indicate that Roode has been removed from the active WWE roster. Previously, he was listed in the miscellaneous section of the roster, which typically includes individuals who still have some affiliation with the company, such as Stone Cold Steve Austin or those currently sidelined due to injury.

In recent weeks, Bobby Roode has been working in a producer role, suggesting a shift to a behind-the-scenes position. While it remains unconfirmed whether this will be a full-time role for him, he was backstage for a recent episode of Monday Night Raw.

Roode’s last wrestling match took place in June of the previous year when he faced Omos in a brief contest. Notably, Bobby Roode had received substantial support from Triple H during his time in NXT. With Triple H overseeing backstage operations, it appears that Roode’s position with the company is secure, even if it means stepping away from in-ring competition.
