WWE ‘Replacing’ Aleister Black On Smackdown?

With Aleister Black being fired from WWE, we wonder to ourselves – who will be replacing The Dark Father? Following the release of several of its top names earlier in the week, WWE finds itself very light in terms of talent. Vince McMahon ‘Selling’ WWE To Big Name.

Among the list of names released including Ruby Riot and Braun Strowman, Aleister Black was also on that list which not only came at a shock to his fans, but to many in the company and even to himself. Black stated that his release was “totally out of left field,” as he had no idea that is was coming his way.

Fightful Select has noted that following the recent departures, WWE is looking to add in new talent to replace those who were recently released from the company.

WWE’s top officials were visiting the Performance Center recently to take a look at some training matches. They also had a look at the actual NXT show to begin the process of selecting superstars who would be moving to either RAW or SmackDown.

We will have to see who takes the spot of who in the company, but stars like Braun, Aleister, Samoa Joe, and Ruby Riot have pretty big shoes that need to be filled and it’s unknown if new talent can get on their level quickly.

Special thanks to Sportskeeda for the scoop.
