If a recent report from Wrestlinginc is to be believed, WWE might be bringing back the coveted King Of The Ring title on TV soon, though this time with a twist.
According to the site, the current plans are to bring back King Of Ring as a regular TV series which will also air on WWE network as a part of their expansion plans in the UK.
The idea behind the series is that it will be a UK centric show which will be produced in the United Kingdom with an all British roster. Though currently there is no news on when this show may launch.
The company has reportedly discussed this idea with multiple broadcasters in the region. One of the broadcasters which Officials have talked with is ITV, who are said to be interested in the idea on ‘multiple levels’.
Although it’s worth mentioning here that despite the idea of this show, the company is still talking to regional promotions of UK, PROGRESS Wrestling and Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) to bring their programming to WWE Network under their planned tired based system.
