According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE is not planning on using Paige upon her return from nursing her neck following surgery this past October. The reason for the WWE’s decision was described as because of “everything that’s happened.”
Meltzer said that the only possible thing that could save Paige’s job with WWE is her upcoming movie, Fighting with My Family, which is being produced by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions.
Paige has been out-of-action since June of 2016 after suffering a neck injury. In addition, she has suffered two Wellness Policy violations and was filmed with boyfriend Alberto Del Rio on Periscope bashing the WWE and COO Triple H. The release of her extremely explicit private sex tapes and nudes didn’t help the situation either.
