WWE has signed former Impact Wrestling star Brittany also known by her indie name Santana Garrett to a development contract, according to Squared Circle Sirens.
Garrett made her professional wrestling debut in 2009 and since then, she has wrestled for a number of promotions including NWA, Impact Wrestling and WOW.
She has previously made appearances for WWE as well. Santana wrestled in a number of matches as enhancement talent for the company and also competed in the 2017 Mae Young Classic tournament where she was eliminated in the first round.
There is no word yet on when the indie star will start her stint with the company but the former Impact Star is expected to become a part of the NXT roster upon her joining.
There were reports of several top indie wrestlers joining the performance center in a new class in September and it’s possible that the company will confirm her signing then.
