The WWE Royal Rumble will take place tonight, and Fightful Select is reporting that the Men’s Match will main event the show. Randy Orton and Edge will kick off the Men’s Royal Rumble match, while Natayla will come in at number 30 for the women’s match.
Edge wrote today about the Royal Rumble match, “January 31, 2010. 11 years ago today at Royal Rumble. I have to do this again. With much harder circumstances. Gotta use the stuff in the basement.”
Rey Mysterio is set for the match, and told Forbes he will only give his son Dominik ‘one pass.’
“I’d definitely love to see Dominik win his first Royal Rumble, without a doubt. I think as a father I would definitely love to see my son succeed. But I’ll give him one pass. If he’s on the verge of being thrown out, I’ll save him once but I won’t save him twice.”
Mysterio also says he has a surprise in store for rival King Corbin, ““I have a little surprise that eventually will pop up, I’m just waiting for the right time for that, and the whole SmackDown family will know…we do know that Corbin was a former Golden Gloves boxer, so we might go down that route.”
