WWE has tons of followers and even more influence on their huge audience, specifically their younger audience. WWE usually lets everyone know which show of theirs to watch and when. Oddly enough, WWE wants their audience to watch AEW as well it seems. Jon Moxley Offered Surprising New WWE Deal.
Jon Moxley debuted at AEW’s famed Double Or Nothing pay-per-view and when this happened it gave him and The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes a once in a lifetime chance to show the world how they felt by sticking up a middle finger for the camera. They recreated this when Cody and Moxley were both champions in AEW.
WWE France retweeted the photo of Jon Moxley holding the AEW World Title and Cody Rhodes holding the AEW TNT Title. In said photo, the duo are recreating their pose they did at AEW’s Double Or Nothing.
The retweet was taken down rather quickly and now it is gone without a trace other than screenshots (credit to Ringside News below) that have ensued. It’s unknown if they came from someone leaving their job at WWE France or if it was a hack, but whatever the case, it caused a stir online for the time that it was seen by the followers that WWE France has.
