Commentator’s Discussion

Sam Roberts, Booker T, and Renee Young discussing the reasoning for Daniel Bryan to want to be that close to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Strap Match. Renee says Bryan must want to stay a step ahead of Bryan. Booker T says, “Daniel Bryan, whatchu think?” as he looks back at the crowd, to which the crowd begins chanting, “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Sam Roberts says Bryan is not winning tonight. Booker T says “On any given Sunday, Daniel Bryan can go out there and make history.”

Renee Young sends the feed over to Christian who’s at the Broadcaster’s Table with three other members of the news team. Christian says, “Bryan is trying to get into The Fiend’s head the way The Fiend normally does to his opponents.” The other members say the Strap Match is a terrible idea as we’ve seen what The Fiend can do with that strap and close proximaty. United States Title on the line, and Shorty G coming up… We go to commercial.

Commercial

Lacey Evans holding off the “hunger monster” in this commercial where she shows off her wrestling skills with the monster and mothering skills with Foster Farms Corn Dogs, “fight the appetite”.

Broadcaster’s Table

We come back, the Broadcaster’s Table is discussing Lacey Evans and her commercial along with her ability to keep up over the past several months. “She’s putting 100% of herself in this match tonight.” A video package is set up for last Friday’s Smackdown where Bayley comes out of nowhere and attacks Evans on the stage in the arena, then again backstage, finally in the center of the ring during a Women’s match in the arena later that night.

Backstage

Bayley is seen walking backstage, Kayla stops her and says her name. Bayley says, “What do you want Kayla?” Bayley says it sounds familiar, ding dong, been there, done that. Tonight, I’m going to show Lacey Evans that her dream is not coming true, and I hope her little brat daughter is sitting front row, so she can see it first hand.” Bayley walks away and the video ends.

Broadcaster’s Table

Back to the Broadcaster’s Table, they discuss Bayley and Lacey Evans. The counter in the lower right corner of the screen shows that there is 1:20:16 remaining until the Royal Rumble at this point.

Inside the Arena

Michael Cole and Corey Graves announce the first match of the evening’s pre-show. Introducing the first match of the night as Sheamus’s music sounds.

Sheamus vs. Shorty G

The Celtic Warrior appears at the beginning of the long ramp leading to the ring in the arena as Sheamus makes his way down the extended ramp and enters the ring, climbing the turnbuckle and throwing his hands in the air. Next to come out is “Rise Over Size” Shorty G who makes his way down the ramp towards the ring where an awaiting Sheamus watches with anger in his eyes. The bell rings and the match begins.

Shorty G goes low for a single leg take down, Sheamus shakes him off. Once again, Shorty G goes for the midsection of Sheamus, again Sheamus counter, a Straight Right by Sheamus who holds on tight with a Wristlock on Shorty G. Sheamus throws G to the mat. Sheamus with another takedown. Shorty G gets up once again, off the ropes towards Sheamus, Sheamus Shoulder Shoves Shorty G back to the mat again.

Shorty G takes Sheamus over the top rope, the match moves to the outside momentarily. Shorty G again using his quickness gets a roll up and pin attempt once again on Sheamus who kicks out at two. Sheamus back to his feet, throws Shorty G into the ring post shoulder first followed by a Shoulder Breaker by Sheamus. Sheamus begins stomping the hands and fingers of Shorty G. Sheamus then grabs the hand of Shorty G and begins to seperate his fingers, seemingly attempting to break his fingers. The referee says, “Come on now!” and Sheamus moves on, throwing Sheamus off the ropes. Back and forth hits between the two.

Shorty G is back on the mat, Sheamus goes for the hand of Shorty G once again bending his fingers backwards as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial where the counter in the right corner of the screen shows 1:10:40 until the Royal Rumble begins!

In the ring, Sheamus continues to bend and stretch the fingers of Shorty G. Shorty G on his knees, trying his best to escape the grip of Sheamus. An Overhead Chop followed by Stomping the feet of Sheamus. Once again going for the Single Leg to no avail. Sheamus with a 10 Beats on Shorty G who’s standing on the outside of the ropes on the apron. Sheamus goes to the outside and once again beats the chest of Shorty G. Sheamus throws Shorty G back in the ring before climbing back onto the apron and turns to the crowd shouting, “Are you not entertained??”

Sheamus grabs Shorty G by the hair. Shorty G begins throwing Chops and Forearm after Forearm followed by a Kick to the face. Sheamus goes after Shorty G and a Dropkick to the leg of Sheamus takes him to the mat. Shorty G throws more big Chops to Sheamus putting Sheamus into the corner. Shorty G with a Big Kick to the face of Sheamus and follows up with several Stomps to the knee of Sheamus followed by a Running Capoeira.

Sheamus catches Shorty G in a Moonsault attempt, Shorty G counters and once again goes to the top rope. Shorty G lands the Moonsault this time and goes for the pin. Sheamus kicks out at two. Sheamus goes for the Running Suplex hits an Elbow to the ear of Shorty G. Shorty G rolls through with a German Suplex with the roll through and Sheamus kicks out at two. Shorty G once again attacks the injured leg and knee of Sheamus.

Shorty G is able to get Sheamus into an Ankle Lock. Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick, Shorty G counters and once again locks in the Ankle Lock on Sheamus. Sheamus makes his way to the bottom rope, forcing the break. Shorty G with massive elbows to the face of Sheamus, Sheamus counters with a kick on Shorty G. Shorty G with a beautiful counter and Crucifix pin attempt. Sheamus followed up with a Brogue Kick for the pin and three count.

Winner: Sheamus

United States Championship Match:
Andrade (C) vs. Humberto Carrillo

Out first is Humberto Carrillo as his music sounds in the arena, Carrillo makes his way across the long ramp towards the ring, removing his cape and entering the ring. Next to the ring is Andrade as his music sounds. Andrade is accompanied by Zelina as he holds his championship belt above his head mid-way down the ramp. Andrade wipes his feet on the apron before enter the ring with Zelina still right next to him. The referee holds the United States Championship belt over his head with both hands.

The two competitors make their way to their corners as the bell rings and the match begins. An early takedown and fast paced moves. Andrade with a smile on his face as they both stop and stare at one another. Andrade hard hit to the corner with nobody home as Carrillo moves just in time. Carrillo attempts to go through the ropes on Andrade who ducks. Carrillo heads towards the top rope, Andrade pushes Carrillo from the second turnbuckle straight into the barricade on the outside of the ring.

A Chop to the chest of Carrillo by Andrade as we go to commercial.

As we come back from commercial Carrillo gets an Outstretched Arm Breaker on Andrade. Zelina is cheering Andrade on telling him to get up and attack Carrillo. Wrenching back on the arm of Carrillo, Andrade attempts to take away the arms of Carrillo for the rest of the match. Andrade drives Carrillo into the mat. Sunset Flip, kickout by Andrade. Carrillo with a Crossbody on Andrade. Carrillo with a Moonsault onto Andrade on the outside of the ring. Zelina looking on in shock as the referee begins the count, both contenders laying on the floor on the outside of the ring. Carrillo pushes Andrade back inside the ring. Andrade tries to counter the pin attempt with one of his own. Andrade showboating as he sets up for the Three Amigos. Andrade mocks the WWE Universe as Carrillo hits a counter of his own followed by going up to the top turnbuckle. Andrade throws Carrillo into the turnbuckle. Once again Zelina starts chanting, “Knee! Knee! Knee!” Andrade gets the Running Knee on Carrillo followed by a pin attempt. Zelina tells Andrade to capitalize. Andrade back to his feet, Carrillo with a quick roll up for the two count. Carrillo and Andrade trade bombs in the center of the ring, both staggering and stumbling as they retaliate against one another. Next Chops to the chest back and forth. Heavy Shots by Andrade, Carrillo with a Super Kick on Andrade out of nowhere.

Andrade on the top rope, the Hurricanrana by Carrillo from the top rope. The crowd in shock, Carrillo took a second too long to get the cover as Andrade kicked out at two. Carrillo back to his feet, Carrillo gets his legs around the neck of Andrade, Andrade counters with a quick roll-up for the three count win!

Winner: Andrade

After the Match

Zelina runs over to the officials and snatches the United States Championship belt out of their hands and runs to the ring with a huge smile of joy as her client retained the United States Championship. Humberto is left sitting in the ring with hands on his head as he sits in the corner of the ring, seemingly wondering where he went wrong as he shakes his head in disappointment. Andrade holds his championship belt over his head as he walks back up the ramp with Zelina.

Inside The Arena

Sam Roberts, Booker T, and Renee Young standing inside the arena talking about the Royal Rumble tonight, as well as speaking on Brock Lesnar. R-Truth walks up and interrupts. Truth says he’s here to fight in the Rumble, the broadcasters explain Truth is not in the Rumble. Truth says first he declares himself, then undeclares himself due to the “stigma-lations”.

Truth says Lesnar took him to “Soup Falls City” and he’s gonna be there. Truth continues on speaking on Cena being his hero. Roberts says, speaking of numbers, how was Cena your childhood hero? Truth says he saw him on the tv. Truth says he has his number for the Rumble, the three commentators try to help R-Truth figure out where he’s supposed to be (in good fun).

Broadcaster’s Table

The camera switch back over to Christian and the other three broadcasters at his table, adding to the jokes in good fun about R-Truth.

All About The Numbers Video Package

Royal Rumble “All about the numbers” video package begins. The winner of the Royal Rumble has to outlast 29 other superstars.

The Royal Rumble debuted in 1988. 1070 competitors have entered the Royal Rumble.

If you combined all of those competitors heights, that would be 6,596 feet of competitors (over 6 Eiffel Towers).

The longest time spent in a single Royal Rumble match goes to Daniel Bryan who spent 1hr 16mins and 6sec and for females, Natalya spent 56mins and 1sec.

Minute Maid Park in Houston holds the 33rd Annual Royal Rumble where 35,000 members of the WWE Universe will be watching.

Brock Lesnar enters the Rumble 1st.

Stone Cold is a three time winner of the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble has been viewed by subscribers on the WWE Network 64,000,000 times since the network’s debut in 2014. 3 brands collide in 2 Royal Rumble matches on 1 historic night…. The buzzer sounds.

Backstage Interview

Sarah Schreiber introduces Charlotte Flair, Flair doesn’t respond until a question is asked. Flair says she obsessed about the Royal Rumble last year. This year, she sees it differently, I don’t see 29 competitors, I see numbers. When they look at me, they will see the queen. Flair walks off.

Broadcaster’s Table

Flairs ability to change her vision on the Rumble is discussed. A brand new Royal Rumble, a brand new opportunity. “As we saw, Flair was the first person to announce herself in the Women’s Royal Rumble this year.” Schreiber says. The rules are laid out for those who may not be familiar:

Two Superstars will start in the ring.
Every 90 Seconds another superstar will enter.
Superstars are eliminated by going over the top rope
Both feet must touch the floor to be eliminated.
Winner receives a championship match at Wrestlemania!

On the Ramp

The broadcast is handed back off to Renee Young who is alongside Booker T and Sam Roberts. Young says there’s about 24 minutes to go (the counter in the corner of the screen said 22:31). Young asks Booker T what the walk down the ramp towards the ring during Royal Rumble feels like.

Booker T says it’s butterflies, but he was able to Shucky Ducky Quack Quack! The crowd begins chanting, “Booker! Booker! Booker!” Young says Booker is caught up in the moment. Titus O’Neil making the walk, Mr. McMahon blowing out his quads, and other unexpected entries are discussed. 2020 Rumble is soon to start.

The clock runs down as the Kickoff Show comes to an end… in 3… 2… 1…

Royal Rumble 2020 Opening Sequence

Are you ready for a good time? Royal Rumble 2020 officially begins with the opening credits. Stone Cold Steve Austin is shown, “We all have something that drives us, that lights a fire in our gut. So let me ask you, what are you here for? You hear that? Times up…”

Buzzer sounds as Austin says, “Whether you are 1 or 30, Man or Woman, there ain’t no opportunity like this, and you better open up a can of you-know-what. You are here to make history, and claim victory. You are here to show them other sumbitches what you’re made of. Everything here is bigger and badder. What in the hell are you here for?” clips from matches and storylines leading up to tonight’s matches are shown in between his message.

Inside the Arena

The 33rd Royal Rumble Minute Maid Park in Houston Texas with 40,000 WWE Fans are ready to rumble. Greg Hamilton announces the first match of the evening.

Falls Count Anywhere Match
Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin

The Falls Count Anywhere Match is announced and the rules are explained. First out, Roman Reigns makes his way to the stage, stopping to look around at all the fans in the arena in awe. Reigns heads down the ramp, stopping to high five fans Corey Graves and Michael Cole are sitting ringside as commentators for the match-up. Reigns enters the ring, looking on as he waits for his opponent to enter the ring. King Corbin’s music sounds over the speakers as he makes his way down the ramp on his throne being carried by his minions. (A video is shown from Smackdown last month where he is tied to the ring post as he is covered with dog food. Reigns physically battered and completely embarassed.)

Back in the ring, we see Reigns watching the big screen where he just re-lived that moment and Reigns looks on to Corbin who is taking his time entering the ring. Corbin doesn’t seem to be in any hurry. Reigns is hot, and goes after Corbin’s crew. Corbin goes after Reigns and the bell rings officiating the match. No DQ’s or count outs. Reigns throws Corbin shoulder first into the steel steps on the outside of the ring.

Back in the ring, Reigns climbs on top of Corbin in the corner of the ring. The crowd counting along as Reigns strikes one, two, three, four… all the way to seven before Corbin escapes the corner and rolls out of the ring. Reigns follows Corbin to the outside. Reigns with a Headbutt on Corbin by the barricades on the outside of the ring. Reigns has intensity in his eyes as he begins to walk towards Corbin once again, throwing him into the ring. Reigns slams Corbin and pins for the two, Corbin kicks out.

Corbin holding his mid-section as he tries to catch his breath in the center of the ring. Reigns punches the mat and goes for the Superman Punch. Corbin counters with the Deep Six on Reigns and attempts a pin, Reigns kicks out. Corbin throws Reigns to the outside of the ring and follows to the outside. Corbin throws Reigns into the barricade before grabbing half of the steel steps and driving them into the face of Reigns. Reigns laying on the outside of the ring. Corbin goes to the Spanish Announcer’s Table and removes the top cover with a plan in mind. Reigns makes his way to the outside, going after Corbin. The match makes it’s way through the crowd, in a sea of WWE Fans.

Reigns arm seems to be injured from being thrown through the Announcer’s Table earlier in the match. Corbin looking frustrated, shouting, “What?!” as he throws his head back to the floor by the announcer’s table as his pin attempt was kicked out by Reigns at two. Corbin dragging Reigns by his vest towards the barricade. Corbin grabs Reigns by the hair and points with a smile as he continues to drag Reigns through the sea of fans. Corbin with multiple blows to the head of Reigns.

The official following close behind for any fall count anywhere. Corbin continues to brutalize Reigns through the crowd. The crowd can be heard shouting, “Boooo!!” The International Announcer’s Table is ripped off by Corbin. Out of nowhere, Reigns hits the Samoan Drop on Corbin! Reigns bought himself time. The crowd begins chanting, “USA! USA!” The announcer declares, Reigns needs a ‘rally” as a baseball analogy seemed fitting in the baseball stadium. Reigns with another Samoan Drop into yet another table!

Corbin crawls on his hands and knees as he pulls his way up to the equiptment area, finally laying on his back Reigns with a steel chair, ready to hit Corbin from behind, suddenly Dolph Ziggler and Roode show up out of nowhere to assiste Corbin in the match. A chain is pulled out, but before Reigns could be chained to anything, The Usos show up and they begin attacking. Uso knocks Roode to the ground. Ziggler comes up from behind and with a massive blow to Uso, they are down one helper.

Roode with the worst of intentions, sets up a ladder. Ziggler begins hitting the second Uso brother with random items around the area. Jey Uso is about to be attack as Jimmy Uso comes out of nowhere from the ceiling, a high flying move onto Ziggler, Roode, and even his own brother Jey. A Superman Punch to Corbin by Roman Reigns, then a second Superman Punch.

Corbin is on his hands and knees crawing by the mobile commodes. The crowd begins chanting, “Roman! Roman!” The crowd cheers as Corbin is thrown inside the toilet, where the King can sit on his “throne” Reigns lifts and flips the portapotty sideways with Corbin inside, a return of embarassment after the dog food incident last month. Reigns with a momentary smile and then continues attacking Corbin through the crowd.

Reigns enjoying himself as the crowd is going crazy, Reigns strutting back towards the ring as Corbin is stumbling and falling as Reigns continues to deliver right hands! Reigns climbs on top of Corbin and a fury of fists on Corbin who is laid out. Corbin gets back to his feet, stumbling away once again. Reigns comes up close to Corbin, Corbin with a steel chair to the midsection of Reigns. Corbin and Reigns on the dugout, Corbin with another massive blow with the chair to the back of Reigns.

Superman Punch once again by Reigns. Reigns howls to the crowd, the crowd howls back. Reigns with a Spear and a cover for the three count!

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the Match

Reigns makes his way back to his feet as the entire arena is cheering with their hands raised in celebrating of Reigns’ victory! Reigns celebrating with the fans. Corbin still beet red on his knees. Reigns lifts his hands and howls once more.

Backstage

Kevin Owens is shown backstage where he’s speaking to tag-team partner, Samoa Joe.”I’m so pumped for tonight. Houston is a good place for me. Intercontinental Championship, throwing Rollins out of the ring and hopefully win the whole thing.” Samoa Joe says “The positive is with Rollins, I got your back. The negative, you get in my way, and I’ll go right through you.” Joe walks away.

Next, Charly Carusso introduces Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. “How do you feel that it’s every man for themself.” Deville responds saying she cares about her partner and they are not Owens and Samoa Joe. If we end up being the last two in the ring, I will jump over the top rope and let both feet his the floor.” With that, Deville walks away, Rose looking on, an unsure look on her face.

Kobe Bryant’s unexpected death is announced and there is a moment of silence before going to commercial. Bryant 1978-2020.

Women’s Royal Rumble Match

As we come back from commercial, the rules for the Royal Rumble are announced and explained once again. With that, we start off the Women’s Royal Rumble!!

Out first, #1 Alexa Bliss as her music sounds in the arena and she makes her way down the ramp with a confident look on her face as she enters the ring. #2 Bianca Belair. Belair dancing and jumping around as she twirls her hair and bounces down the ramp towards the ring to enter with Bliss. Belair blows a kiss to the crowd before stepping under the rope and into the ring, still flipping her hair. Bliss doesn’t look stressed as she waits in the corner, letting Belair showboat.

The bell rings and the 2020 Royal Rumble match is underway!! Belair immediately lifts Bliss for an attempt at an early elimination. Belair drives her shoulder into Bliss in the corner of the ring. Belair climbs on the ropes, throwing blows to the face of Bliss. Bliss fights back, following up with a Double Foot Kick. Belair grabs Bliss midair, considering throwing Bliss over the ropes, instead she hits a Back Breaker on Bliss as the buzzer sounds for

#3 Mighty Molly Holly makes her way down the ramp wearing her pink cape and she enters the ring, climbing the ropes and putting her hands on her hips in superhero style. Holly throws Belair over the top rope, Belair catches herself and rolls back under the bottom rope. Molly climbs to the top with a Double Crossbody on both Belair and Bliss. Nine seconds remaining.

#4 Nikki Cross as she comes running down the ramp, wasting no time. Cross rolls under the rope and comes in attacking, telling Bliss, “Let’s go!” Belair and Molly Holly both over the top rope. Bliss and Cross hug in the center of the ring, not realizing neither hit the floor. KOD by Belair.

#5 Lana comes out and demands that they cut the music. Lana says she’s going to win the match up for her hot, hot husband Bobby Lashley. Lana trying to eliminate the legend Molly Holly, getting her over the top rope. Holly holds on for deal life and rolls back under the ropes.

Out next is #6 Mercedes Martinez as she removes her gear as she makes her way down the ramp and enters the ring with her music cutting. Martinez catches Bliss, throwing her face first into the canvas. Next she lands a German Suplex on Belair. Lana hits Martinez from behind. Butterfly Suplex by Martinez on Lana. Lana is lifted over to ropes and is on the edge of the apron as Martinez attempts to kick Lana out off the apron with a leg sweep.

#7 Liv Morgan comes stomping down the ramp as her music sounds, then into a full on run as she sees Lana on the apron. Morgan Shoulder Shoves Lana through the ropes. Martinez grabs Morgan and throws her over the top rope. Morgan catches herself and goes for the top rope, Lana grabs Morgan’s feet and pulls her off the turnbuckle. Morgan flips out and attacks Lana, officials seperating the two.

The whisper of #8 Mandy Rose as her seductive music plays over the speakers as Rose enters the ring. Rose and Cross go at it in the center of the ring. Rose with a slap to the face of Cross. Belair almost over the rope in the corner. Cross hyping up and a Crossbody onto Rose as the buzzer sounds.

#9 Candice Lerae comes out with a huge smile on her face. Lerae climbs to the top rope and starts throwing kicks to everyone she can get her feet at. A Moonsault from the middle rope by Lerae. Belair throws Molly Holly out of the ring. Odis is laying on the floor, Mandy never touched the floor as she was thrown out. The crowd goes crazy and cheers as Rose jumps back in and starts attempting to throw Bliss over the top rope in the corner of the ring.

#10 Sonya Deville comes running down the ramp with her cape on. Deville throwing punches at everyone coming near here. Fire and Ice in the ring. Sliding Knee flattens Nikki Cross. Lerae in trouble as she is double teamed. Sonya taking advantage of her martial arts background while fighting Martinez in the center of the ring. The announcers let it be known that Otis is jirating by the Announcer’s Table.

#11 Kairi Sane makes her way down the ramp holding her parasol as she climbs to the top rope and jumps into the ring like an oriental Mary Poppins. Sane on the move with a Spear on Bliss and Cross. Deville trying to shut down Sane. Spinning Backfist to Mandy Rose. Back Buster to Rose by Sane. Belair is dropped to the mat by Sane. Sane with an Alabama Slam on LeRae. The counter goes down 3, 2, 1…

#12 Mia Yim from NXT comes out as her music sounds, Yim wastes no time running down the ramp and entering the ring. Eat Defeat to Nikki Cross. Yim shuts down Belair. Belair throws Cross over the top, Bliss comes up for the save from behind. Belair uses Bliss as a weapon to throw Bliss over. Bliss holds onto the hair of Belair to save herself. Otis still standing on the outside, catches Rose and then Deville is thrown over as well. Otis falls to the ground dropping Rose.

#13 Dana Brooke, the self proclaimed underdog entering her third Royal Rumble now, makes her way to the top rope and a front flip and Back Splash. Clotheslining all the women in the ring that are still standing. Yim and Brooke with a series of strikes.

Lerae is thrown from the ring, eliminated. Sane to the top rope, is knocked off and onto the ground, officially eliminated as the buzzer sounds.

#14 Tamina the Powerhouse walks with purpose as she makes her way down the ramp towards the ring as her music blares over the speakers. Tamina is flattening everybody in the ring except Belair. Belair says “What you gonna do?” as the two women go at it in the center of the ring, Belair throws Tamina over the top rope. A big kick to the back of Belair by Bliss. Bliss trying to lift Belair up over the top rope as the buzzer sounds.

#15 Dakota Kai comes out. Kai wasting no time in this match up, showing ruthlessness and massive kicks inside the ring. Bliss with a counter, Kai is thrown out. Brook, Kai, Belair, and Bliss remianing.

#16 Chelsea Green makes her way to the top of the ramp, stopping with her representative Robert Stone who is lobbying for title opportunities for Green. Green puts her finger to her lips and gives a “Shhhh” as she makes her way down the ramp towards the ring. Green throws Kai out of the ring, and then Bliss throws Green out and mocks her “Shhh”. Bliss and Belair are the only two left in the ring. Bliss off the top, Belair puts her knees up. Belair attempts to throw Bliss over the top, Bliss throws Belair over the top as well. A tug of war between the two women, Bliss using Belair’s ponytail as the rope. Belair throws Bliss into the turnbuckle knocking her from the outside apron.

#17 Charlotte Flair’s music sounds in the arena. Bianca Belair looks up the ramp as if to say, “You’ve gotta be kidding me” as she tries to catch her breath in the corner of the ring. Flair slowly makes her way down the ramp towards the ring. Flair with massive chops as the crowd “Wooo’s” through each blow. Flair nods to the crowd. Belair throws Flair face first into the bottom turnbuckle. Belair and Flair both rocking around on the mat as the buzzer sounds.

#18 Naomi who hasn’t been seen in competition in months, makes her way down the ramp and hits the floor as her song tells her to. Naomi rocking her afro and going after Flair. A Stalemate, both go after the NXT Superstar Belair. A Double Suplex on Belair. Once again Flair with backhands to the chest of Naomi with a “Wooo” from the crowd with each one. The countdown shows 3, 2, 1… the buzzer.

#19 Beth Phoenix locks eyes with Charlotte Flair as she heads down the ramp towards the ring. Flair looking uncertain for the first time of the evening. Phoenix picking up Naomi almost effortlessly putting her on the other side of the ropes. Belair getting in with Ashley.

#20 Toni Storm from NXT UK, Storm comes running down the ramp towards the ring and immediately goes after Flair. Belair laying on the top rope, Phoenix trying to push Belair over. Belair is kicked out of the ring by Flair with a High Kick. 33 minutes and 20 seconds for Bianca Belair. Flair fighting back and forth with Phoenix. Flair holding on to the top rope with her legs wrapped around.

#21 Kelly Kelly comes out with a huge smile on her face. #22 Sarah Logan ready to throw down. Flair takes out Logan. Kelly Kelly tries to take out Flair. Flair looking offended by Kelly Kelly’s attempt, Flair knocks her out of the ring. Naomi in trouble on the top rope as everyone is trying to push her out and she clings to whatever she can. #23 Natalya enters and downs Flair with a Discus Clothesline. The Glamazon joins Natalya momentarily for a Powerbomb on Flair.

#24 Xia Li makes her way down the ramp towards the ring, the first Chinese Superstar to ever be signed to NXT. Beth Phoenix and Li fighting in the center of the ring until Flair jumps in. Li drops Flair to the mat. Li on the outside of the ropes on the apron.

#25 Zelina Vega doing a little turn on the ramp before rushing down the ramp and entering the ring. Li throws Phoenix across the ring. Phoenix landing on the back of her head. Flair in trouble, Phoenix joining in the assist. Flair trying to hang on for dear life in this three on one. Naomi comes in from behind. Flair puts her body higher on the apron trying to get under the rope.

#26 Shotzi Blackheart makes her way down the ramp and enters the ring, going at it with Flair in the ring. Naomi thrown from the ring, jumps from the stairs to the barricade. Naomi hanging on the barricade., figuring where she can go to re-enter the ring. Naomi starts making her way across the barricade towards the announce table. Naomi stands on the top.

#27 Carmella makes her way out doing the moonwalk. Take a ride on the Mella Go Round. Natalya thrown into the corner of the ring. Carmella doing her moonwalk dance once again. Flair is being double teamed in the center of the ring. Phoenix with a Glam Slam on Flair. Flair is thrown into the post through the ropes and falls to the outside. Phoenix looking upset that she didn’t send Flair over the top rope.

#28 Tegan Nox comes running down the ramp with a smile. Chokeslam by Nox. GlamSlam by Phoenix. Almost all the girls on the mat holding one body part or another and rolling around in pain. The countdown goes to zero and the buzzer sounds.

#29 Santina Marella comes out with a huge smile and covering her hand to her mouth. Phoenix looks stunned and angry. Marella says, “It’s me…” and goes for a hug. Phoenix not cracking a smile once. Marella shakes her booty and waves at the crowd before calling Phoenix a bitch. Marella says, ok, and pulls the Cobra out of her bra. Not a flinch from Phoenix, so Marella shrugs and throws herself over the ropes.

Last but not least, #30 Shayna Baszler. Baszler has seven eliminations. With Baszler, Phoenix, and Natalya in the ring, Baszler is double teamed with Hart Attack. Phoenix goes for a high five, and throws Natalya out of the ring. Baszler holding Phoenix over the rope. Flair jumps back in and tries to throw both women out. Baszler asks Flair if she just did that. Flair shakes her head no. Baszler with a mad woman look on her face. Flair shaking but ready to brawl. “Let’s go” Flair says. Flair is thrown out of the ring by Phoenix, Flair catches herself. Baszler throws Phoenix over the rope for elmination. Flair has to keep her feet off the ground, Flair grabs Baszler with her feet and throws Baszler over the rope. 27 minutes and 19 seconds from the #17 position.

2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Champion: Charlotte Flair

After the Match

Flair climbs to the second rope and looks out to the crowd, the crowd cheering and shouting, “Wooooooo!!!” The fireworks go off and the word “Wrestlemania” can be seen, the queen overcome with emotion as she looks up. Crying, but trying to keep her composure.

Flair speaks on her plans for Wrestlemania, “I can tell you this. Since day one, I have been a diamond, cut to last. And whether any of you wanted me to win or wanted me to lose, tonight I reminded you, that this, is my division!” looking into the camera, Flair adds, “Woooooo!”

Backstage

King Corbin says he’s going to throw Roman Reigns over the top rope because that match earlier in the night was unfair. Having The Usos fighting his battle, well that won’t happen during the Royal Rumble. Corbin finishes by saying HE will be the last one standing at the end of the Royal Rumble, and HE will go on to Wrestlemania.

Lacey Evans vs. Bayley

Bayley and Lacey Evans previous matches are highlighted leading up to tonight’s match. Bayley heads down and enters the ring first. Out next is Lacey Evans dressed in her “Southern Belle” attire. Evans’ daughter is seen sitting ringside, Evans takes her hat off and puts it on her daughter before entering the ring and saluting. Each language’s team is announced as they give there thoughts. The match is officially announced as a One Fall Bout for the Women’s Championship. As Evans is announced, she salutes once more. The SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley holds her belt up, Evans daughter, Summer, is seen giving the thumbs down with her tongue out. The bell rings and the match begins.

Evans throws Bayley into the corner to start the match off. Evans with a massive Knee Drop to the shoulder of Bayley. Bayley is caught by the referee attempting to remove the padding from the top turnbuckle. Bayley makes an excuse and moves on. Evans gets suckered by Bayley after Bayley delivers a cheap Right Hand after pretending to be injured. Bayley flies from the top

Bayley gets a two count pin attempt on Evans. Evans kicks out, Bayley refuses to let Evans up. Bayley with an awkward Chin Lock. Bayley drives Evans into the corner. Evans moves just in time for Bayley to slam her own face into the turnbuckle. Big Knee to the chest of Bayley. Bayley mocks Evan’s salute while on the top rope. Bayley goes for the high flying move and nobody is home. Evans has a look of anger on her face as she builds momentum in this match.

Evans jumps over the top rope, and falls genuinely, but catches herself. Evans jumps over the ropes and slams into Bayley once again. Bayley rolls to the outside to block from getting another pin attempt. Evans comes up to where Summer is behind the barricade. Summer grabs her mother’s wrist and holds onto her, trying to help her, Bayley pulls Evans away. Evans with a Neck Breaker on Evans. A Back Moonsault on Bayley. Evans goes for her finish, Bayley throws her legs up, Evans rolls to the side in pain. Bayley quickly pins Evans for the three count.

Bayley holds the belt high as she makes her way up the ramp, looking back to see a very angry Evans.

Out first is Daniel Bryan as the WWE Universe in the arena all point their fingers in the air, yelling, “Yes! Yes! Yes!” as Bryan’s music sounds over the speakers in the arena. Bryan once again starts the chant that could be heard miles away. Bryan stands in the center of the ring as his music cuts. Firefly Fun House music starts up and then fades. On the jumbotron the words, “Let Me In” can be seen. The arena fades to black and red beams of light can be seen moving around the arena. The Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt slowly makes his way down the ramp as his music sounds over the speakers in the darkened arena.

A light shaped like Bray Wyatt’s head is sat down on the side of the ring. The Fiend enters the ring. The lights turn back on. Both men are formally introduced, Daniel Bryan first, then his opponent, The Universal Champion, The Fiend Bray Wyatt. The custom made title belt is held over the referees head. The 13 foot strap will have one end on the wriste of Bryan and one end on the wrist of The Fiend, you cannot get away from you opponent and it can be used as a weapon. The bell rings and the match begins.

Fiend pulls Daniel Bryan towards him, Bryan counters in the corner with Yes Kicks out of the gate. The Fiend picked up Bryan and Powerslammed him to the mat before beginning to whip Bryan with the strap. The Fiend stretches his neck to the left and then to the right before once again using the strap as a whipping tool. Bryan is on his hands and knees, Fiend goes after Bryan, Bryan send Fiend to the outside of the ring . Bryan with a kick on Fiend. Bryan attempts to go flying through the ropes towards Fiend, Fiend steps out of the way and throws Bryan. Bryan hoisted up to the top turnbuckle. Fiend once again starts whipping Bryan.

Disturbing laughter coming from The Fiend as Bryan struggles. The Fiend hangs himself upside down from the ropes, playing with his opponent. Sister Abigail attempt. Bryan with a Running Knee and a pin attempt. Bryan launches himself into The Fiend, suddenly gaining the upperhand as Bryan sees this as his only opportunity. Bryan with a high flying move off the top turnbuckle. The Fiend goes to throw Bryan into the steel steps again, Bryan slides through the ring and out onto the other side.

The Fiend clears off the German Announcer’s table. Fiend stands over Bryan and wraps the strap around his arm. Daniel Bryan with a low blow, then another, ending with a DDT. Bryan lands back first. Bryan starts whipping The Fiend repeatitively with a crazed look in his eyes. The Fiend on his knees in the center of the ring. Bryan with a Yes Kick, then the strap, Yes Kick, strap, Yes Kick, strap…. The Fiend is down.

The Fiend is right back up, asking for more. Bryan complies.Bryan stomps the face of The Fiend. The Fiend snatches Bryan out of mid-air with Sister Abigail and the pin attempt. Bryan kicks out at two. The crowd starts chanting, “Dan-iel Bry-an! Dan-iel Bry-an!” The Fiend sitting in the middle of the ring talking to himself and smacking himself in the side of the head before getting back to his feet. Bryan slaps The Fiend. The Fiend slaps Bryan back. The Fiend with the Mandible Claw. Bryan hanging from the hand of The Fiend. Bryan back in the ring.

Bryan traps the arm of The Fiend, hitting the lock on The Fiend. The Fiend struggling back to his knees, begins landing blows to the face on Bryan. The Fiend back to his feet. Bryan slowly turns around, looking at The Fiend. The Fiend just nods his head, Bryan starts lashing The Fiend, The Fiend doesn’t even feel it.

After the Match

The Fiend Bray Wyatt starts rubbing the head of Daniel Bryan before he makes his way to his feet, raising his hands in victory. The arena goes black. The lights come back on. Daniel Bryan is laying in the center of the ring with officials surrounding him. Bryan turns over with visible strap marks bleeding and swollen on his back. Bryan struggles to his feet, shaking as he tries to stand. He falls back to the mat. The officials help Bryan down the ramp as the crowd claps and a “Daniel” chant starts. Daniel Bryan once again falls to the floor on the way up the ramp. The crowd starts chanting, “Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! YES!” Bryan stumbles, but keeps going as we go to commercial.

Asuka (with Kairi Sane) vs. Becky Lynch

Asuka is the first to come out as her music sounds in the arena. Asuka is accompanied by Kairi Sane as they strut and move down the ramp towards the ring. Asuka enters the ring awaiting the arrival of her long awaited opponent, Becky Lynch. Lynch comes out as her music sounds in the arena. Lynch doesn’t crack one smile, much different attitude than that of Asuka when she came out.

The contest scheduled for one fall is for the Women’s Championship. Asuka is introduced first, The Raw Women’s Champion, The Man, Becky Lynch is introduced. The crowd can be heard chanting, “Becky! Becky!” The first women’s match as the main event at the Royal Rumble. The referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and the match begins. Asuka drops to the mat, quickly back to her feet trying to gain the upperhand in the ground work.

Lynch circles Asuka multiple times. Asuka rolls Lynch up quickly, to no avail as Lynch kicks out. Lynch is once again rolled up, and once again kicks out. Asuka rolls to the outside trying to regroup. Lynch tries to get a Sliding Baseball Kick on Asuka. Asuka catches Lynch and pulls her to the outside. Back in the ring, Lynch gets a Dropkick off the top rope, landing the upperarm of Asuka. Lynch setting up for the Disarmer, Asuka takes control, once again with a kick to her head.

Lynch with Double Knees to the back of Asuka. Kick out by Asuka as Lynch goes for the pin once again. Lynch back to her feet, sending Asuka face first to the outside of the ropes. A big kick to the collar bone of Asuka.

Both women fighting on the apron. Asuka trying to rip Lynch off the apron with a German Suplex. Lynch picks up Asuka and drops her face first to the outside of the ring. Sane encourages Asuka back to her feet. Lynch with the Exploder into the barricade on the outside of the ring.

Lynch takes the fight back into the ring, Leg Drop from the top rope. Asuka kicks out at two once again. Lynch helps Asuka back to her feet just to knock her back to the mat. Back Slide by Asuka and a pin attempt. Knee Strike to the face of Lynch. Strikes back and forth, then kicks back and forth. Lymch setting up for a Suplex, Asuka counters and gets a two count pin attempt. Asuka and Lynch once again fighting on the apron, several close calls. Asuka with Hip Attack on Lynch.

Back inside the ring, Lynch with a kick to the back of Asuka. Lynch joins Asuka on the top rope, Lynch drives Asuka into the canvas. Lynch looking stunned, just nods and tries to regroup while laying on the mat. Lynch struggles back to her feet. Sane can still be heard crying out to Asuka. Asuka with Double Knees to the face of Lynch. Asuka twists around and goes for an Arm Bar on Lynch, Lynch counters and gets a quick roll up, Asuka kicks out. Back and forth finisher attempts.

Asuka with multiple kicks to the face of Lynch. Lynch looks to be unconscious inside the ring. We see a replay of Asuka kicking her right in the face. The referee goes to call for a stop to the match. Lynch grabs the leg of the referee telling him “don’t you dare!” Lynch is kicked once again and another pin attempt. Lynch once again kicks out at two. Asuka goes for a counter and Lynch reverses it. Asuka goes for the kick once again.

Both women are laid out in the center of the ring. The referee begins to count to 10. Lynch and Asuka both grab each others hair and get back to their feet. The referee has his back turned momentarily. Asuka went for the mist, Lynch sees it coming and with a massive kick to Asuka, causing her to mist in the air. Lynch locks in an Arm Bar. Asuka taps.

Winner: Becky Lynch

After the Match

Asuka can be seen covered in the green mist as she sits in the corner of the ring. Becky looks Asuka right in the eyes, then holds the belt high above her head in victory as we go to commercial.

Backstage

The Street Profits banter backstage on the Royal Rumble and matches that have happened or are yet to come. Then laughing about Ricochet getting stomped by Brock Lesnar. The chance to become immortal, the Royal Rumble is coming up.

Booker T’s music sounds in the arena as he makes his way down the ramp and joins Michael Cole and Corey Graves for the Men’s Royal Rumble event.

Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Out first is Brock Lesnar as he makes his way down the ramp with his championship belt hanging over his shoulder with close behind.

Elias makes his way out with his guitar, speaking to the fans. The fans start singing for Elias. Elias says, “I wrote a song called ‘Sacrificial Lamb’ and here it goes, is heading to the ring. But before I do, I got one more song to sing. Brock Lesnar’s pacing, he’s ready to attack. Heyman keep ur mouth shut, I’ll smash a guitar on your back.

Lesnar goes running out of the ring, stumbling on his way out, falling into the barricade. German Suplex by Lesnar once he’s inside the ring. Heyman throws Elias’s guitar into the ring for Lesnar. Lesnar grabs it and smashes it over the back of Elias. Lesnar eliminates Elias, awaiting the next contender.

#3 Erick Rowan makes his way down the ramp power walking, ready to cause some trouble in the ring. Lesnar had a different plan, as he eliminates him just as soon as he comes in. Lesnar motions to “bring it on”. The countdown hits zero and the buzzer sounds.

#4 Robert Roode makes his way out as his music sounds in the arena. Lesnar is watching the ramp as Roode looks back. Roode enters the ring with Lesnar, a quick fight ensues, Lesnar throws Roode out of the ring, then holds the championship belt above his head. The buzzer sounds and the next contestant comes out.

#5 John Morrison makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring with Brock Lesnar. No sooner than Morrison enters the ring, Lesnar locks up with Morrison, lifts him up and throws him out of the ring as well. Lesnar paces while waiting for the sixth member of the Rumble comes out.

#6 Kofi Kingston makes his way down and enters the ring as his music sounds in the arena. Kingston jumps in the ring and goes at Lesnar with a fury of blows. Lesnar with a German Suplex. The crowd begins chanting, “Kofi! Kofi! Kofi!” Kingston having been the first to get shots in on Lesnar. Lesnar starts stomping Kingston in the corner of the ring until he hears the next music come on.

#7 Rey Mysterio’s music sounds over the speakers in the arena as he makes his way out to the stage, then heads down the ramp towards the ring. Lesnar takes on Kingston and Mysterio together. Lesnar with a Suplex on Mysterio.

#8 Big E heads to the ring as The New Day music sounds in the arena. Big E rallies the troops. Kingston, Mysterio, and Big E all go at him together. Trouble in Paradise by Kingston. Big E to Lesnar. Mysterio with the 619. Lesnar staggering in the corner. Mysterio gets eliminated. Then Big E is eliminated. Kingston grabs the ankle of Lesnar. Last, Kingston is eliminated.

#9 Cesaro makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Cesaro gets about a dozen uppercuts on Lesnar. Lesnar with a Suplex on Cesaro followed by Lesnar throwing Cesaro out of the ring.

#10 Benjamin makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Benjamin and Lesnar hug it out. Lesnar makes Benjamin believe they will team up. Lesnar gets another Suplex, then Clotheslines Benjamin over the top rope. Lesnar’s face red with giddy as he laughs and smiles.

#11 Nakamura makes his way to the ring accompanied by Sami Zayn. Lesnar and Nakamura begin fighting in the ring as the music stops. Nakamura knocks Lesnar to his feet. Nakamura is eliminated.

#12 MVP‘s theme music sounds and Lesnar dances along. MVP unloads on Lesnar and goes for the F5 in the center of the ring. Lesnar eliminates MVP. Keith Lee comes out as #13.

Lesnar stares Lee down before striking with a knee. Lee hits Lesnar with a Shoulder Shove, then another. Lee hits a Splash and follows up with a big left hand. #14 Braun Strowman causes the crowd to go crazy. Braun gets the Dropkick on Lee. He goes under the bottom rope. Lesnar with a German Suplex on Strowman and then again on Strowman before hitting yet another German Suplex on Lee.

#15 Ricochet makes his way out and goes for a high flying move early on. Lesnar seems to be getting winded at this point, but smiles and gets back to his feet. #16 Drew McIntyre.

#17 is The Miz. McIntyre drops The Miz early on. McIntyre lands a Claymore to The Miz, followed by eliminating him. McIntyre looks at Lesnar. #18 is AJ Styles. Styles and McIntyre fight it out until #19 is called and Dolph Ziggler comes in. McIntyre blocks a Calf Crusher by AJ. Ziggler and AJ go at it in the ring.

#20 is Karl Anderson who stops McIntyre. WWE Hall of Famer Edge makes his way out as #21. The stadium goes crazy cheering as the pyro goes off and the music blares over the speakers.

#22 King Corbin and Ziggler gang up on Edge who hit multiple Spears on the men in the ring, the crowd going crazy until #23 Matt Riddle makes his way out, representing NXT. Riddle wastes no time as he lands multiple kicks on the remaining superstars. Edge finally to his feet going after Riddle. Corbin eliminates Riddle and the crowd is not happy.

#24 Luke Gallows makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Corbin hits Edge with a Deep Six as McIntyre eliminates Corbin. Corbin cannot believe what happens and stands in disbelief. The OC attack Edge. Randy Orton is out next as #25. Roman Reigns as #26. Rated RKO reunites to eliminate The OC.

#27 Kevin Owens get a loud pop in the arena. Owens makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring and wastes no time dominating McIntyre into a corner of the ring. Orton and Owen with massive blows back and forth. Owens hits a Powerbomb. #28 Aleister Black comes out and teams up with Owens. Reigns blocks the Powerbomb by McIntyre but is unable to block the Stunner by Owens. McIntyre with a Glasgow Kiss Headbutt.

#29 Samoa Joe comes out and begins dominating the ring. Reigns keeps his attention on Orton. Owens is trying to keep away from Edge. Black is fighting with Samoa Joe. Owens hits a Corner Cannonball on Black.

Last but certainly not least, #30 Seth Rollins comes out with his new partner Buddy Murphy who has been his helper and tag-team partner. Back and forth fighting, the match has Edge, Orton, Reigns, and McIntyre remaining. The crowd is completely loving this bout as they watch on.

Edge and Reigns face off. A Superman Punch takes Edge down. Edge jumps over Reigns and lands his own Spear. Reigns attempts to pull Edge over the top rope. Reigns finally hits an Uppercut eliminating Edge to the dismay of the fans in this arena.

McIntyre hits a massive Claymore Kick on Reigns. McIntyre still feeling the momentum, follows up by eliminating Roman Reigns for the win!
