On this week’s RAW, Vince McMahon announced big changes for the show. That included calling up six NXT superstars for the main roster.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said that the call-up was already in the works and that it was done quicker than initially planned as Vince McMahon said he was going to make a big announcement on RAW.
Alvarez said that every single call-up announced on last night’s RAW had already been scheduled for January. The call-ups were just pushed forward because of the storyline where Vince McMahon came out to make radical changes.
So, the NXT Superstars were always going to be called up but got lucky to be called up early due to the storyline.
