WWE seemingly interested in signing Alex Zayne

WWE always scouts the independent circuit in search of more talented wrestlers. It seems the company their sights set on signing one particular independent wrestler. Alex Zayne will be finishing up his time in the indies and WWE wants him.

 


 

According to a report by Fightful, WWE is interested in Alex Zayne. It was not confirmed whether he has signed a contract or not.

Zayne had a strong showing in New Japan Pro Wrestling due to his performance on NJPW Strong. As reported earlier, WWE is reaching out to talents who competed on AEW Dark and NJPW Strong.

Zayne has worked in several promotions in the independent circuit. He has wrestled for GCW, Warrior Wrestling, and Black Label Pro. He also had a couple of matches in ROH.

He has been wrestling for 15 years. However, according to Cagematch, he did not compete in any match from 2008-2012. He also took a break of two years from the squared circle and made his return in 2016.
