WWE Send ‘Angry’ Message To CM Punk

‘The Second City Saint’ and former WWE Champion CM Punk is reportedly heading to All Elite Wrestling and according to Ringside News we have a general feeling on what WWE’s feelings toward the alleged signing is. According to the outlet, there was no discussions for the company to bring back CM Punk to the company in any capacity. With the outlet being on record as saying: “WWE has no interest in CM Punk and even less for Phil Brooks as a human being.” CM Punk recently sent this bold message to WWE.

Furthermore, Steve Carrier, the founder of Ringside News expanded on this notion on social media via Twitter, adding that an anonymous source told them: “let him be their headache”.

The full tweet in question states: “CM Punk is going to AEW, but how does WWE feel about this? We asked around and received quite an answer. One person told us: “Let him be their headache.” It was also doubly confirmed to us that WWE has not had any interest in bringing CM Punk back at all.”

Fans over on the ever-popular Squared Circle subreddit are still buzzing about the news of the potential CM Punk signing. One user named TheRalphExpress stated: “Like how poetic would it be for the two men who broke the mold for independent wrestlers in WWE, and two of the loudest voices for change in the wrestling industry to end up in a company born in large part due to fans’ frustrations with WWE.”

Continuing the user said: “Frustrations that have been seen on WWE programming itself over the past decade, most famously being worked into storylines with these two specific people going up against the powers that be”
