Zelina Vega just returned on Smackdown to try to qualify for Money in the Bank. Vega lost her return match to Liv Morgan. Former WWE NXT Champion Aleister Black was one of the stars who was released on June 2. Alongside him stars including Braun Strowman, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett were also released.

It seems that the company is planning to bring the former NXT Champion back.
Aleister Black to make his return to WWE?
John Poz recently spoke about Black on The Triple Threat podcast with Shane Douglas on RussosBrand.com. He reported that he had spoken to Aleister Black recently and the former WWE star had informed that Triple H has offered him a WWE return.
“I know NXT has reached out to him, Triple H has reached out to him.”
There have been talks that the company is planning to bring back some of the released stars and the let go was due to the budget cuts. It is noted that the stars would be brought back on a low payscale.
Now, the only thing that stands between them is the agreement. We will have to see if both the parties agree on a deal and who knows we might end up seeing Black making a return.
