WWE is set to host Friday Night SmackDown this week at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. A lot is seemingly planned for the show. Only time will tell how it all goes down on FOX this week, because Vince McMahon could always alter the plans in the last minute. We have some spoilers.
WWE has two pay-per-view events in May. Backlash is going down in Puerto Rico on May 6th, and then Night of Champions is going down in Saudi Arabia on May 27th.
According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, WWE is planning to give the LWO some time on the show this week. It was noted that they could be in a backstage segment.
“LWO are scheduled for Smackdown, though they’re not advertised. They’re at least slated for a backstage segment.”
Rey Mysterio made an unimaginable move before entering the WWE Hall of Fame by adding members of the Legado Del Fantasma to revive the Latino World Order. According to recent reports, the company has a reason behind putting the stable on weekly television. While Mysterio’s backup has been outsmarted by The Judgment Day, the stable still appears on both brands.
Meanwhile, plans involving Karrion Kross and Shinsuke Nakamura have also been spoiled. It was also noted that, “Karrion Kross & Scarlett are to continue the Shinsuke Nakamura feud tonight.” Nakamura made his big return to SmackDown last week, where their rivalry was started with a tarot card angle.
