WWE SmackDown Live results from 5/9/17

Here are the results from tonight’s (Tues. May 9, 2017) taped episode of WWE SmackDown Live in London (courtesy of Kings Of Kayfabe):

 


 

WWE was in London, England at The O2 Arena for tonight’s SmackDown Live TV tapings. Here are the spoilers:

Dark Match: Tye Dillinger defeated Aiden English.

— WWE Champion Randy Orton walked down to the ring to open the show. He cuts a promo about Jinder Mahal. This led to AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, Mahal, and Kevin Owens walking out. Mahal showed off a photo of himself with the WWE Title on the big screen. This led to a brawl with all six Superstars, which set up a six-man tag team match that will be the main event of the show.

— Singles Match: Natalya defeated Becky Lynch. Charlotte Flair, Naomi, Carmella, James Ellsworth, and Tamina were at ringside. Natalya picked up the win with a roll-up.

— In a backstage segment, Carmella, Tamina, and Natalya challenged Lynch, Flair, and Naomi to a six-woman tag team match at the WWE Backlash PPV.

— Another coming soon video for Lana was shown.

— Breezango did another Fashion Police segment with Tyler Breeze dressed up like a British police officer and Fandango dressed like Sherlock Holmes.

— Singles Match: Erick Rowan defeated Luke Harper with a new finisher.

— Dolph Ziggler walked down to the ring and cut a promo about Shinsuke Nakamura. This led to Nakamura walking out to confront him. Nakamura challenged Ziggler to a match tonight. However, Ziggler declined by saying he would face Nakamura at Backlash instead. Ziggler then attacked Nakamura.

— Another coming soon video was shown for the New Day.

— Tag Team Match: Breezango defeated The Ascension. Post-match, The Usos came out to cut a promo on Breezango to hype their tag team title match at Backlash.

— Six-Man Tag Team Match: Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens, and Baron Corbin defeated Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Sami Zayn when Mahal pinned Orton to pick up the win.
