Welcome to wrestling-edge.com’s results for WWE Friday Night SmackDown. On tonight’s episode, Sasha Banks and Carmella get ready for their TLC Collision.
Contract Confirmed
The show opens with Adam Pearce in the ring getting ready for Sasha to sign her contract against Carmella. The contract binder is empty and Carmella is backstage with a “Sommelier” of her own to deliver the contract. (I will ignore that a Sommelier is a wine expert.) Once he delivers the contract, Sasha attacks him and it is announced that they will battle for the women’s title tonight.

Doph Ziggler vs Montez Ford
The two battle with Ford’s athleticism being paired against Dolph’s technical prowess. While Roode and Dolph try to escape the match, blue Solo cups are lauched into the ring, letting Ford make cup angels.

The two continue to battle on the other side of the break, and thanks to a Roode distraction Dolph is able to crotch Ford on the top rope and pin him after a Superkick.
Big E vs Sami Zayn
Prior to the match Sami is complaining that he doesn’t have a shirt, but Big E shows off his shirt and offers a design to Sami.
That's gonna be a best seller on @WWEShop.

Sami is wrestling with an alleged broken wrist, but Big E is using his size to dominate the current Intercontinental Champion. As Big E lands power move after power move, Sami tries to escape Big E by going under the ring. Sami succeeds in keeping Big E under the ring for the 10 count, making his way back in the ring to get the win at the 10.

Kevin Owens’ Oration
Kevin comes out with a Table, Ladder, and Chairs into the ring and addresses Roman Reigns. Roman watches from backstage as Kevin introduces his props as personified friends. Kevin also spells out his desire to be back on top of the ladder of the company. As he finalizes his thoughts, Jey Uso attacks him with a chair, targeting the leg. Owens recovers and puts Jey through a table as Roman comes out to face him before returning backstage.

As Owens pursues him backstage, he asks Charly if she has seen Roman but Roman makes himself known with an attack. As Owens is lying in the background Roman continues to declare himself head of the table.

Riott Squad vs Billie Kay/Natalya
The Riott Squad has excellent chemistry on this match, though Billie Kay is trying to get Natalya to give her some offense. Once Billie Kay tags herself in, she knocks off Natalya with incidental contact allowing the Riott Squad to pin Billie for the win.
You love to see it!

Otis/Gable vs Shinsuke Nakamura/Cesaro
Gable does a good job playing general to his team with Otis. Unfortunately the chemistry between Shinsuke and Cesaro is too much to overcome and Otis doesn’t break up the pin when a Giant Swing and Kinshasa put down Gable.

After the match, Gable claims that he was teaching Otis what not to do, and that he shouldn’t have tagged in since he had the match won.
Carmella vs Sasha Banks (C) – SmackDown Women’s Championship
Carmella gets a giant shadow dance entrance. Carmella is able to escape the grasp of Sasha Banks early in the match in order to take some semblance of control. When Sasha tries to take advantage on the apron Carmella plants her heading into break. The battle between the two continues but it seems Sasha has the win when the Sommelier pulls Sasha out of the ring. Enraged by the situation, Sasha continues to attack Carmella and is disqualified.
