WWE SmackDown September 16th Show Spoilers Leak

Bayley will wrestle on WWE SmackDown tonight, PWInsider.com reports, and Damage Ctrl will be on. PWInsider also reports a match change may take place for The New Day vs. Alpha Academy vs. The Street Profits vs. Los Lotharios number 1 contenders tag match for the Extreme Rules PPV.

“There’s been a pitch to change that match, placing Imperium and The Brawling Brutes in and pulling Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios out.” Logan Paul will also appear, making his WWE return.

Ahead of SmackDown, AEW could be seeing a major return on their Friday show Rampage sometime soon. Jeff Hardy was arrested and hit for having a BAC of .294 during his recent arrest. The video clip of his arrest also surfaced the social media. 1st Coast Bail Bonds & Surety handled his $3,500 bond. It was noted how his family has been dragged to the matter as well. He has had a history of DUI arrests and his struggles with drugs and alcohol. This matter has been well documented over the years and the nightmare is not over for him. Fans had hoped that he cleaned up, but that is seemingly not the case. His brother Matt Hardy had talked about the issues. Now, Matt has opened up on Jeff possibly returning but with a new gimmick.

Matt Hardy talks about possible Jeff Hardy return

On the recent episode of “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” Matt talked about teaming with a “new” Jeff Hardy and the reigning AEW TNT Champion Wardlow to take the trios titles, currently held by The Death Triangle. He said:

“That sounds great. Pretty exciting, we’re getting close to the point where we meet the new Jeff and we figure out his future and what he ends up doing. I’m pretty excited because I feel like his mentality is that he knows he has to make changes and do what’s right and I feel like he’s at the point where he will this time around. I’m excited to have him back and I think [teaming with Jeff and Wardlow] would be amazing, would be so much fun.”

Meanwhile, Wardlow is also excited about the idea as he said:

“I think I don’t need to answer that on how much that would mean to me. Yeah, I can’t even fathom that. I don’t even know what that would feel like.”

We will have to see when Jeff Hardy makes his return to the company.
