WWE Smackdown Spoiled For Next Week

Sami Zayn’s current persona in WWE sees him as a conspiracy theorist who thinks WWE is out to get him every step of the way. He also dresses for the part as he has a lot of unkempt hair and is not groomed at all.

Now from the looks of it, Sami Zayn has a couple of very interesting things he took inspiration from in order to create his current look in the company. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a storied rivalry that has continued throughout various promotions including ROH and WWE.

After the end of this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown at the Allstate Arena, the company taped matches for the December 24 Christmas Eve edition of the show. During the tapings, the 12 Days of Christmas Gauntlet was held which was going to determine the #1 contender to Shinsuke Nakamura’s Intercontinental Championship.

Sami Zayn won the match after eliminating Ricochet, which now means he will be challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for his WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Day 1 on January 1, next year.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a storied rivalry that has continued throughout various promotions including ROH and WWE. Kevin Owens also recently dropped a cryptic AEW bombshell.

With former WWE NXT Superstar Adam Cole making his way to AEW at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, many fans have been wondering if more top talents will take their skills to AEW as well. Thanks to Kevin Owens’ recent tweet, many fans began speculating that he will make his way to the company as well.

To add to the rumors, Kevin Owens once again dropped a huge hint regarding his AEW status. The former Universal Champion made a slight tweak to his Twitter account, which definitely did not go unnoticed by fans. He did something similar to what The Young Bucks have done on the social networking platform.

However, all speculations were put to rest after it was revealed that Kevin Owens signed a new contract with WWE. It was said to be a deal of multiple years and worth millions of dollars.
