Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue.
WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building. This led to many speculations over the past few weeks. Naomi recently took to her social media account and dropped a cryptic message. Not only that, but Banks and Naomi seemingly confirmed their WWE exit after changing their social media. Naomi was also spotted with AEW star.
Naomi might be leaving WWE after contract reportedly expires
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Naomi’s WWE contract might have already expired, but the company could have also frozen her contract for the time being, so she can’t go to AEW:
While they may not have agreed to new deals and in the case of Naomi, her contract in theory expired (they could have frozen her so she couldn’t go anywhere else), the belief is that Naomi and Banks are returning.
Little has been known about Naomi. However, it was reported she might have a new venture. There have been ample amount of speculations and reports surrounding the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.It was reported that she was released as per the WrestlingInc and Raj Giri. New reports have emerged that noted her presence on the WWE’s internal roster. WrestleVotes stated that Sasha Banks has indeed been released from her WWE contract. However, PWInsider noted that she is seemingly with WWE. WWE doesn’t care anymore about Sasha Banks walkout.
