WWE Star Accused Of Rape By Woman

A.J Ferarri slapped with charges

Bond was set at $25,000 for Ferrari as initially reported by the Stillwater News-Press. An arrest warrant affidavit was filed by a detective in the Stillwater Police Department’s criminal investigations division on Tuesday, the documents showed. The alleged incident occurred on July 2 in the home of a Stillwater female, who accused Ferrari of performing unwanted sexual acts while holding her down in her bed, per the affidavit.

It was noted that on July 5, the woman filed for an emergency protective order against Ferrari. The hearing on that order is scheduled for Sept. 15.

“The Ferrari Family is disappointed by the State’s decision to file this charge,” Ferrari’s attorney, Derek Chance, told The Oklahoman in an emailed statement. “We remain confident that through the legal process, A.J. Jr. will be exonerated, as he is innocent and the facts will no doubt prove it.”

The university announced on July 13 that Ferrari, who would have been a junior on the OSU wrestling team, was no longer with the program. An NCAA champion at 197 pounds as a freshman in 2021, Ferrari was the top-ranked wrestler in the class last season before suffering serious injuries in a January car accident that prevented him from competing the rest of the year. We will have to see what future holds for him.
