WWE Star Gets Sick After Smackdown Return

The COVID-19 pandemic shows no signs of stopping and quite a few pro wrestlers all over the world have been affected by the virus. Many have tested positive for the virus and it also brought the pro wrestling world to a standstill.

Harry Smith signed with WWE earlier this year and even worked a dark match on Friday Night Smackdown. However, he has yet to make his return to WWE television and it seems there is a reason for that.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Harry Smith contracted COVID-19 shortly after his first dark match with WWE. He was involved in a dark match prior to the first SmackDown with live fans.

One of the reasons Harry Smith hasn’t been seen since he did the one dark match with Austin Theory is that he contracted COVID. He’s fine now and was backstage for the draft show in Baltimore

In other news,

Braun Strowman recently spoke with “Control Your Narrative,” where he revealed what he was upset about regarding his release from WWE.

“In all honesty that’s the one thing, that’s the only thing I’ll say that I’m mad about my career ending with WWE, was that being taken away from the kids,” said Strowman. “The money, yeah don’t get me wrong it’s great. It’s given me life, things in life that I could have never imagined. Fame, I could absolutely 100% do without.”

“Other than that the fact, the fame, to those kids, I’ve always been a sucker, I had a soft spot for children,” Strowman continued. “It’s just, that’s the future and they’re so pressured, they should be so protected.”
