With the release of stars from NXT running its course, we get to take a look at what’s next for those affected by the cuts brought on by WWE. Many stars stay quiet after such an event occurs, but there are others who waste no time at all to send a statement not only to WWE, but to that star’s fans and other companies out there who may be interested in their future work.
Enter Dexter Lumis who quickly let the world know that, while he may be gone, someone else is coming back. That somebody is none-other than the intense aura of Samuel Shaw. Lumis had been involved in an ongoing feud with on-screen partner Indi Hartwell against Persia Pirotta and Duke Hudson in NXT, but it looks like there will be an open ended finish to this story since the release of Lumis. This left many fans of Dexter Lumis and the ongoing feud with Indi Hartwell angry.
That anger has seemed to have transcended through the fans and into the new version of Samuel Shaw who took to social media to show off how intense he is about this new direction of his character. In the video floating around, he can be seen painting a foam mannequin head and dressed in a butcher’s apron. Samuel Shaw is also seen in the Twitter video madly applying splashes of paint to the foam head before posing with a deranged look which is extremely unsettling. The video was shocking to those who are not familiar with this rendition of the Samuel Shaw character, but to those who knew of the run that Shaw had in the indies; they were relieved to have seen this transition.
