WWE Star Reacts To ‘Racism’ After Matt Riddle Match

WWE has been trying to be more inclusive to all walks of life, heritage, race, background, and gender preference for the past few years. Mustafa Ali has also been a key player in WWE trying to bridge gaps that should have been bridged long ago.

Mustafa Ali took to Twitter to respond to a WWE fan that posted the following directly to Ali.

The post to Ali said the following: “True to your heritage. You had to use help to defeat Riddle.”

The tweet by the WWE fan could have been innocent enough if they had not led in with such racist rhetoric. Not only were fans of WWE and Ali extremely angered by the original tweet, but it even made Ali himself come out to say something.

Ali responded to the racist tweet by stating the following: “True to your heritage. You’re afraid of a brown man succeeding.”

While Ali was not the first to start the racism play between the two, some fans were even put off by Ali’s comeback. One fan stated: Yeah, okay! I really hated seeing Muhammad Ali being the greatest in the world. @AliWWE
why have you gotta stoop to the level and bring race into pro wrestling. There’s enough of that talk everywhere else.”

From my perspective, Ali was nowhere near the wrong for defending himself. The original poster obviously had ill intentions.
