WWE Star Rejected Losing To Racist Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan remains one of the most popular pro wrestlers in the world of professional wrestling, with his influence in the business never being understated. However, his troubled past concerning racism has ultimately led to his downfall. Hulk Hogan was booed at WrestleMania 37 when he was introduced with Titus O’Neil as the hosts of the pay-per-view, which all stemmed from him using racial slurs in a leaked 2015 sex tape. New Jack Last Photo Before Death Leaked earlier last year.

In 1990, The Ultimat Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan at WWE’s biggest event of the year to win the WWE Championship. He later found out that The Hulkster earned $1 million for the match, while he was only paid $500,000.

Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper teamed up to face The Hulkster and Mr. T and lost to them at the very first WrestleMania. Hulk Hogan recalled in a recent Ringside Collectibles video where Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff refused to lose to Hulk Hogan.

“Back in the day, when Vince first kinda took over and I’d go be the main event at Philadelphia or the main event at Hersheypark, Vince would say, ‘Hey, we want you to drop the leg on Piper, drop the leg on Mr. Wonderful [Paul Orndorff],’ and a lot of times they’d go, ‘No,’ so I’d call Vince back and say, ‘Okay, what are we gonna do? They don’t wanna end the match that way.’ He goes, ‘We’ll come up with something else.”
