In the highly competitive world of WWE, it can be difficult for Superstars to express their dissatisfaction with the company. Publicly bashing the company is not an option due to the contractual obligations, but wrestlers can still convey their displeasure by blacking out their social media accounts and dropping cryptic tweets.
Recently, Angel Garza has been making headlines for his blacked-out Twitter account, leading fans to question his contract status with WWE. His disappearance from television and unknown contract status have only fueled rumors of his potential departure.
Despite making an appearance at the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal before WrestleMania, Garza hasn’t had much airtime on WWE programming, with his last match being months prior on Main Event. Garza has also taken to Twitter to drop cryptic hints about his status, posting a photo of himself and fellow wrestler Humberto Carrillo, who is also missing from WWE programming. The caption of the photo, “what do you think we are missing?” has left fans wondering if there’s more to their absence than meets the eye.
WWE has been making an effort to appeal to Latin American audiences with the LWO faction and a trip to Puerto Rico for Backlash. However, it seems that Garza and Carrillo have not been included in these plans, which has left fans puzzled.
With the 2023 WWE Draft coming up, there is hope that Garza and Carrillo may once again be given the opportunity to showcase their immense talent. Despite their lack of screen time in recent memory, these two wrestlers have proven themselves to be top-notch performers, and their inclusion in future WWE storylines would surely be welcomed by fans.
