WWE Suffer Massive Blow To SummerSlam

WWE have been chalking some huge plans for SummerSlam that is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on August 21. It turns out that the fans might have to wear a mask to attend the pay-per-view event. The event is still over a month away, so  a new mandate passed down could cause a change for WWE’s big show.

 


 

A new mandate announced for SummerSlam

AEW had been concerned with their shows due to the new mandates and WWE might be facing the same as Clark County, Nevada has issued a mask mandate. The Reno Gazette Journal reported that Nevada has issued a mask mandate for Clark County which is the venue for ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’. Allegiant Stadium, the host for the event is technically an outdoor venue if the roof is not on it. We will have to see if fans at SummerSlam will be affected by this new mandate. The new order begins on July 30th and they did not announce how long it will last. It is noted that Clark County has reported over 80% of positive COVID-19 cases in the state. The vaccination rate is sadly only 39%.
