*Lots of cheers for Khali.
*Fun match to get the crowd into things.
Sheamus def. Goldust
*Good back and forth match.
*Not sure how many people knew who Sheamus was.
6-Diva Tag Team Match
Gail Kim & The Bella Twins def. Alisha Fox, Jillian Hall & Maryse
*A lot of people took their washroom break here.
*Fairly average divas match, not too many people were into it.
Evan Bourne def. Carlito
*Very fun match that the crowd was very into.
*HUGE pop for the Shooting Star Press.
Cryme Time def. Hart Dynasty
*Good pop for Cryme Time
*Hart Dynasty shot a promo saying it was “too late” for Canada to start hoping on the bandwagon now. That got them some strong heat.
United States Championship
Kofi Kingston def. The Miz
*Kids LOVED Kofi Kingston
*Very good match with Kofi winning with Trouble in Paradise.
ECW Championship
Christian def. Tommy Dreamer & William Regal
*Christian received an overwhelming pop from the Canadian crowd.
*Great match with Christian winning with the Killswitch
Triple H & John Cena def. Randy Orton & The Big Show
*Strong pops for Cena and Triple H.
*Orton’s entrance is longer the the Undertakers. It’s just silly.
*A bit of disappointment from the crowd when Jericho didn’t enter after Big Show, and when HBK didn’t enter after Triple H.
Overall it was a pretty strong show. It was my first non-televised event, so I did miss the pyro, but the superstars
put on a good show.
