WWE Superstars are seemingly ‘livid’ following WWE’s taking over of Twitch & Cameo profiles

As reported earlier, WWE will be taking ownership of Superstars’ Twitch and Cameo accounts. They have been given four weeks to comply with the guidelines, else they will be penalized. Many were under the impression Twitch would be fine as the company allowed Superstars to use their real names.

Naturally, many Superstars did not take this well. According to a report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one WWE Superstar said the following: “This is amazing because it’s really going to open up the independent contractor issue. All these smart attorneys surrounding Vince and this is the battle he wants?”

That Superstar also added that “a lot of talent is livid, but as is usually the case in these situations, nobody would speak up about it.”

WWE also saw AJ Styles’ Twitch account in the wrong light. Styles revealed how his son did not watch WWE and Styles also revealed that he had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. All these could have been a factor into their decision.
