WWE Teasing Non-WWE Content on WWE Network?

The WWE continues to play with the hearts of hardcore pro wrestling fans by surveying WWE Network subscribers on their viewing habits of indie pro wrestling promotions. WWE Fan Council listed these indie promotions in their most recent survey:

–  Pro Wrestling Guerrilla

– Dragon Gate USA

– Ohio Valley Wrestling

– All American Wrestling

– Combat Zone Wrestling

– Shimmer

– Ring of Honor

– Full Impact Pro

Unless I am missing something, I don’t see this as teasing showing non-WWE stuff on the network.
WWE has had a working relationship with both RoH and Evolve in recent times, and its probably more a question of seeing where fans interest lies, so they can scout talent they know people will already be fans of.

Amazing! I would actually subscribe if I could see the best independent wrestling on WWE Network!

Better not let people see SHIMMER or they will realize that is where the best women’s wrestling is in the US. WWE women’s division has come a long way and has the money for the high profile gimmick matches like HITC but SHIMMER still beats them in pure wrestling.
