WWE ‘To Bring Back’ Fired Smackdown Star?

Could Aleister Black [Tommy End] be on his way back to WWE sooner rather than later? The former Black was one of many shocking and surprising names that were let go from the company earlier this month due to alleged budget cuts within WWE. In the case of Black, it was particularly shocking due to the fact that he had just returned after a length absence which was hyped up with vignettes. Aleister Black recently dropped this AEW debut bombshell.

In his final appearance, Aleister Black had attacked former WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E by executing his finisher – the Black Mass. This led to Apollo Crews to retain his Intercontinental championship on the May 21st episode of WWE SmackDown in the main event against fellow former champions – Big E, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a fatal four way encounter.

Now, according to a new report by PWInsider, certain anonymous names within WWE believe that Black was released prematurely and there is now an internal push for him to be brought back. The general consensus is that black was ‘cut too soon’ and was a victim of the creative process over anything that he did on his own. Aleister Black is currently under a 90 day non-compete with WWE which runs out on August 31st.
