WWE trying to block ROH from running MSG show

The All In event getting sold out in less than an hour was an impactful event for indie wrestling and the effects of this can already be spotted in the indie circuit.

Just recently during an interview Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. CEO Chris Ripley had talked about future plans for ROH and he had revealed that the company is aiming to hold a similar event at Madison Square Garden next year.

After this interview became viral it was reported that the WWE Officials were not happy with this development because for decades the company has been the only wrestling promotion to run shows at MSG.

Now in an update, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that the company officials are doing ‘everything possible’ to try and block the indie promotion from running a show at the famous arena.

No word yet on what tactics the company is using to block ROH from successfully holding this planned show but we’ll keep you posted on updates.
