WWE trying to make RAW feel ‘grittier’

WWE is doing everything possible in order to help with declining ratings and gain more viewers. A few notable changes were made to RAW this week.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful’s RAW Post Show that WWE experimenting with a more grittier feel for the third hour of the show. So RAW has different color graphics and darker lighting. It might also mean an edgier product if WWE decides to go that route.

“So you may have noticed some changes in hour three. The lights were darkened. The graphics were changed to highlight black instead of red. That’s because WWE is looking to go in a grittier I was told more raw approach for hour three of the show that’s because of the viewership being so low.”

“One person backstage said this is another indication of Vince throwing everything at the wall and trying to see what sticks and I mean we’re talking wild cards and floating stuff and new titles and all kinds of different stuff.”

From the looks of it, Vince McMahon trying everything but the kitchen sink at this point. The change in graphics might just be the beginning.
