WWE Trying To Rehire Controversial Star?

The former WWE star Big Cass(now W. Morrisey) made his AEW debut on the latest edition of Dynamite. Previously, MJF had dropped hints about his debut and Morrisey had faced Wardlow in a losing effort. Morrisey was released by WWE back in 2018 after struggling with substance abuse issues, but has done an incredible job overcoming the struggles. He has done tremendous work in IMPACT Wrestling and now roped in by AEW. It seems WWE was quite impressed with Morrisey’s AEW debut.

WWE is reportedly happy with W.Morrisey

According to Andrew Zarian on the latest episode of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, he heard from a number of people working for WWE who were very happy with what they saw from the former Big Cass.

“I got a couple of messages about him from people. People wanting to know when his contract ends.

“I’m not gonna say that WWE is gonna take him but I can tell you that WWE is definitely impressed by him. There’s no way around it, man. I got a message last night while he’s coming out and somebody wrote, ‘did you see this F’N guy?’”

Morrisey’s opponent, Wardlow has now picked three consecutive wins against the opponents including Lance Archer and The Butcher on Dynamite, following his unsuccessful TNT Title pursuit against Scorpio Sky on the St. Patrick’s Day Slam show back in March. Mr. Mayhem also won The Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at the Revolution pay-per-view.

It was also noted that a long-awaited match between Wardlow and MJF is confirmed for the upcoming Double or Nothing pay-per-view. MJF announced that will present his conditions for the match next week in his hometown of Long Island, NY. Fans are eagerly waiting for next week to know what conditions MJF has in mind for the match.
