Unlike its counterpart which might be main eventing this year’s WrestleMania, the SmackDown Women’s Champion doesn’t even have a match planned for the show yet, latest reports reveal.
The latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that WWE is undecided on a match for the title and there is no word yet on who the title holder Asuka will face at the show.
At one point a match between her and the recent NXT call up Lacey Evans was in the mix but that bout has now been nixed for unknown reasons.
Though the officials are still high on the former NXT Star and according to reports she will be feuding with Natalya on Raw in upcoming times.
Based on the recent events on WWE programming, we can speculate that Asuka will face Sonya Deville and Many Rose in a triple threat for her title at the upcoming PPV.
Though it’s always possible that the company adds other stars like Naomi to this bout as well, making it a multi person match for the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
