Sasha Banks has been quite the force to reckon with in the WWE, but it looks like plans could have gone a different direction with a ‘loss’ planned not too long ago.
On a recent episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Sheet’ hosted by Vince Russo, Vince sat down with Billi Bhatti to discuss all of the plans past and present leading into this years Wrestlemania.
On this episode, Vince and Billi discussed Sasha Banks. Let’s take a look into the news.
Billi: “….and still Sasha vs Bianca (pertaining to their Wrestlemania match) being the decision on this one. Bailey vs Sasha was the plan. Sasha was supposed to sit out like Bray Wyatt for twelve weeks and return and win the Royal Rumble. They decided that they weren’t gonna do that. They decided that they were gonna go with the Bianca thing.”
Billi continues: “They didn’t think they could ride that out for six months. The decision that was made as early as October was Sasha and Bianca.”
Sasha vs Bianca does seem like the best choice to be made rather than the Bailey gimmick that could have been. Bianca vs Asuka would have been right up there with it, but it does look like Sasha vs Bianca is wanted more by the audience as well. Roman Reigns was ‘removed’ from a major Smackdown angle last week.
