There have been a lot of changes backstage in WWE in recent times. Paul Heyman was recently fired from his role as RAW Executive director. With that, the future of some Superstars has been in question.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s plans for Andrade and Angel Garza. He noted that their plans are solid. He that both Andrade and Garza are in the long term plans, particularly Garza, so they are “okay for now.” He speculates that in the short term, the team may win the Tag Team Titles or at least be in the title scene.
With Bruce Prichard being in charge of both RAW and Smackdown, it is possible we will be seeing the two win tag team gold in the future. The push for the two Superstars seems to be continuing and is unlikely to stop anytime soon.
Meltzer also talked about WWE’s plans for Liv Morgan. With Heyman’s firing, it seems Morgan’s direction in the company will be changed. When Heyman was in charge, Morgan was getting her own vignettes and promos during RAW. They were building her to be a star and an inspiration to girls who could relate to her, but they stopped once he was fired.
Now it seems WWE plans on getting Liv Morgan to team up with Ruby Riott again. We will have to see how WWE books their reunion.
We will keep you updated on WWE’s plans when we learn more.
