XFL player contracts COVID-19

By Harrison Carter

XFL

The XFL cancelled the remainder of their 2020 season due to the COVID-19 disease. Now it seems one of their players have contracted the disease.

According to a report by Pro Football Talk, a Seattle Dragons player has tested positive for COVID-19. He was apparently tested and found positive on Friday.

He was part of the Seattle Dragons games against the Houston Roughnecks and the St. Louis BattleHawks. The test result came following the cancellation of the remaining XFL games for this year.

The player apparently told the team physician that he was feeling unwell on Tuesday and was put under quarantine. We hope this player recovers from this horrible disease.
