Forgotten pro football league, the XFL, is officially returning as revealed by WWE CEO Vince McMahon on a media call today.

The XFL was last seen in 2001, launched as a joint venture between WWE (which was then WWF) and NBC Sports which was frankly an abject failure resulting in losses of around $35 million apiece.
Vince McMahon has also provided full details on the returning football league via a press conference and we would be interested to know what you guys think. Will it be second time lucky for McMahon or is this another failed project in the making?
