The upcoming ALL IN event hosted by The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes is shaping up to be a great event with many big indie names announcing their appearance for the show.
However, with the event taking place in Chicago area, there will always be questions of a possible appearance from the Second City Saint, CM Punk.
During a recent interview with Sporting News, Bucks were asked about the former WWE Champion and they said that they text Punk on weekly basis:
“I will say this: I text message Punk on a weekly basis. We’re good friends,” Matt Jackson said. “We talk wrestling. He still loves wrestling, of course he does. We’re pro wrestlers. That’s what we do. Even when you quit or retire or whatever, it’s still in your blood.”
Continuing on the topic, the duo talked about Punk or Bryan appearing at their upcoming event saying that it would be icing on the cake but on the same time they claimed that they don’t need them to fill in the 10,000 seats they aim:
“Hell yeah I would like those guys. Those names would be icing on the cake. … But I don’t think we need them to get to 10,000. With the card we have in mind, I think that should do it.”
