It seems as though WWE Superstar Zack Ryder has hit a bump in the road in his WWE career, as he apparently suffered a knee injury during last night’s (Tuesday December 14, 2016) SmackDown Live Battle Royal to determine the next No. 1-contender for The Wyatt Family’s Tag Team Titles.
The WWE issued the following announcement regarding Ryder’s status:
“We think he injured his kneecap or his patella. We think it popped out and then popped back in, so we’re just going to do an MRI to make sure that there is not cartilage damage or some tendon tearing, stuff like that,” according to WWE’s Dr. Chris Robinson. “Hopefully there’s not and it’ll be a shorter rehab period. If there is, there’s a different road we might have to go down that may take longer to get him to recover.”
The Hype Bros’ title opportunity was not mentioned but we’ll keep you updated on it, as well as on the health of Ryder….
