Ziggler Talks Wanting To Be The Greatest, Amateur Wrestling, and More

Yesterday we noted that Ziggler took part in an interview with QCTimes. Here are a few more items mentioned in the interview.

How he got into wrestling: When I was 5 years old, I went to my first WWE live event with my dad. I loved it so much I wanted to start wrestling. Two months later, I was wrestling at 5 years old. It’s been a dream job since I was a child.

Feelings towards amateur wrestling: If you watch amateur wrestling, you know it’s not very much fun to watch sometimes. I get into (seeing) it because I love it. But the higher level you get, the more boring it is and the guys are really talented, so they don’t really score very many points.

Defending his Money in the Bank contract: I just theoretically retired Chris Jericho.

On being the greatest ever: I always saw myself as a great sports entertainer and wanted to be the best. I have prided myself on my matches and work and entertainment. I want to be, at the end of my career, the greatest ever.
