Liv Morgan’s return to WWE in early 2024 after a period of inactivity has been impactful, but she faced a significant setback in December 2023 with her arrest in Florida. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion was taken into custody in Sumter County on charges of possession of marijuana and potential possession of synthetic cannabinoids following a traffic stop.
Bodycam footage of Morgan’s arrest, recently released by the popular series ‘Law and Crime,’ sheds light on the incident. The video shows Morgan being stopped by a sheriff’s deputy after her yellow jeep was observed crossing the lines of a County Road. During the encounter, Morgan can be seen calling her mother and denying ownership of a vape found in her car, though she acknowledges its presence. The officer detects the smell of marijuana and proceeds to search the vehicle, eventually recognizing Morgan as WWE Superstar Liv Morgan.
Despite the ordeal, Morgan was released on bail later that same evening. Now, focusing on her career, she is set to face Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World Title at WWE King and Queen of the Ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in two weeks.
The Cops reading Liv Morgan’s Diary while she was arrested is kinda weird to me
