Bray Wyatt is expected back soon on WWE Raw, and Randy Orton ruined Wyatt’s return on tonight’s Raw. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that Wyatt will be back soon. Bryan Alvarez added that “you might see a new look to The Fiend” when he returns to action following his ‘burning’ angle with Randy Orton at TLC. Wyatt requested a break from WWE.
The two Royal Rumble matches featured several surprises last night, but Wyatt did not appear. Torrie Wilson was one of the surprises, and she had this to say backstage, “No matter how much time goes by it’s like you always pick up like it was yesterday.”
“I always get excited then I hear my music hit, but I’ll be honest, usually when I know there’s a crowd I have knots in my stomach all day long. Today I didn’t feel the knots in my stomach, like ‘where are the knots?’ Then I felt them right before we went on, so I’m like ‘we’re good.” Ringside News transcribed Torrie’s remarks.
Wrestlevotes tweeted that morale was high backstage at the Rumble, “Source said the vibe last night was the most upbeat locker room he’s seen in a long while. This time of year usually does that, but, also went on to say that the ‘Road to WrestleMania’ has real meaning this year, serving as a small light at the end of a dark tunnel.”
