Daniel Bryan ‘Rejected’ Major WWE Money Offer

Former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan rose to superstardom in 2014 thanks to his organic rise as a babyface, culminating in him winning both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships at WrestleMania 30 after Bryan defeated Randy Orton and Batista in a triple threat match. Daniel Bryan was also apparently lying about quitting WWE.

On last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Daniel Bryan faced off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of the show. Despite competing to the best of his ability, Daniel Bryan was unable to win the match and was banned from Friday Night Smackdown as a result of his loss. His contract also expired last week and many fans have been wondering where he will go next. Bryan knew WWE that he would be leaving before WrestleMania

It seems Bryan has earned the respect of a WWE Hall Of Famer by not going to Saudi Arabia to wrestle in WWE events. Bret Hart spoke at an Inside The Ropes Live event in October 2019, where Bret Hart said:

“I have a lot of respect for Daniel Bryan, who didn’t go. I don’t know that I would have gone, I don’t know that I wouldn’t have. It’s a lot of money, three million dollars to a pro wrestler, especially Goldberg, who went there and wrestled for 10 minutes. And, you know, it’s a big paycheck. So, I mean, I guess if someone offered me the same thing, I don’t know if I would have turned it down or I would have accepted it.”
