Former WWE star Daniel Rodimer, also known as Dan Rodman during his WWE run had a run with the company from 2006 to 2007 as a participant in Tough Enough. He had a short lived run with the company and his name has recently resurfaced due to his involvement in a murder case.
Rodimer, who was wanted in connection with a murder investigation, voluntarily surrendered to the authorities after an arrest warrant was issued. He went on to post bond. The specifics of the case indicated to a homicide that occurred on October 29 at Resorts World Las Vegas.
It was previously reported that he was officially charged with murder and was set to appear in Court this month. As per the report of KRNV, Daniel Rodimer has entered a not-guilty plea to the murder charge. Rodimer made an appearance with his attorneys for an arraignment hearing before Judge Tierra Jones in Clark County District Court on Wednesday.
During the hearing, the prosecutor announced that the case would not be considered for the death penalty. Judge Jones set the trial date for February 3 of next year. Rodimer’s legal team indicated they plan to file a pre-trial petition to challenge the indictment. The situation involving Daniel Rodimer is a troubling one as his future remains up in the air ahead of the trial next year.
