Roman Reigns Lost ‘Top Star’ In WWE Stable

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose will forever be known as The Shield, but they almost had an additional member when it was a new stable with new name. Big E revealed that there were talks of plans to have him as the fourth member of The Shield, but he was lost in the shuffle before he could join sadly. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman just confirmed they’re ‘boycotting’ a WWE show.

Big E said on a WWE Network special, “My first feeling of getting called up was 2012. I was doing loops. Any collective period of days is a loop. It’s Roman [Reigns], Seth [Rollins], Dean [Ambrose], and me. There was some thought of bringing all four of us in together as a group.

Obviously, that changes, they go on to international fame as The Shield. I was told, ‘You’re going to be with Dolph and AJ, on your very first night, you’re going to attack John Cena.’ I’m thinking, ‘Man, this is it.”

A Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns title match rumor has leaked. Big E said it was ‘too cringe’ to watch himself, so he wouldn’t be watching his new WWE Network documentary.

Big E tweeted prior to the premiere, “I cringe watching myself or seeing people say nice things about me (so I’m going to sit this one out) but please tune into my #WWE24 tonight on the @WWENetwork,” Big E wrote on Twitter. “They consistently produce stellar docs so I know I’m in good hands.”
