The rumor mill turns at all hours of the day and Drew McIntyre rumors are not an exception, with his WrestleMania match leaking.
Vince Russo and Billi Bhatti discussed tons of Wrestlemania news and leaks on their newest episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Sheet’. Within this discussion, they touch on a matchup between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre that was initially planned for WrestleMania last fall when both were champions. Wrestling-Edge transcribed their comments from RussosBrand.com. Let’s listen in.
Bhatti: “So, you don’t wanna do Reigns and Rock because you can’t do it. So, you do then do McIntyre and Reigns instead-that messes up McIntyre taking the belt off ‘The Fiend’. Then you move ‘The Fiend’ back into a different situation. You extend the feud with Randy Orton at this point. So, that’s what we have here in November.”
WWE have been changing plans all year as it pertains to WrestleMania. So much so, that it’s often hard to keep up with what plans they are changing week to week. These changes have made many fans unhappy with the current writing over in WWE as well. A WWE star suggested Brock Lesnar ‘replace’ Drew McIntyre in a major WrestleMania match last week.
